Tedd Forrest

Ted Forrest was born on September 24, 1964 in Syracuse, New York. He holds five World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets and one World Poker Tour (WPT) title. He is known by his nicknames "Professor Backwards", "The Suicide King", "The Hitman". His hometown is Las Vegas, Nevada.

Before he became a professional poker player, Forrest worked in a hotel near the Grand Canyon when he was 20 years old. He used to play in modest poker games and actually won some money which he could afford his studies with. With this money he won at the poker tables, he went to college and attended Lemoine College.

Phil Ivey

Phil Ivey (born Phillip D. Ivey) was born on February 1, 1976 in Riverside, California. He holds eight World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets and one World Poker Tour (WPT) bracelet. He also reached the WPT final table an amazing number of eight times. Ivey is also known by his nicknames "The Tiger Woods of Poker" and "No Home Jerome".

Ivey improved his poker skills while playing with his co-workers at a New Brunswick, New Jersey telemarketing firm in the 1990s. By the time he was 16, he used to play backroom games for money and by the time he was 18, he already owned a $50 ID he got from a guy at his telemarketing job.

Tom Dwan

Tom Dwan who is also known around the poker and internet world as "durrrr" was born on July 30, 1986 in Edison, New Jersey. He is a young professional poker player who enjoys playing for high stakes and is considered one of the best on-line poker players today. He is often seen at the No-Limit Hold'em and the Limit Omaha tables on Full Tilt Poker. You'll know he's there once you see his nickname ("durrrr") and the huge bankroll he brings to the table.

Making the big bucks and the name for himself were the result of his developing on-line poker career.

Peter Eastgate

Peter Eastgate (also known by his nicknames "Icegate" and "Isser") was born on December 13, 1985 in Odense, Denmark. He became known in the poker world for his WSOP Main Event win in 2008. Besides the bracelet and money he won, he also set a new record for becoming the youngest player to win a WSOP Main Event at the age of 22, beating Phil Hellmuth's record which dominated the category since his win in 1989, when he was 24 years of age.

Patrik Antonius

Patrik Antonius was born on December 13, 1980 in Helsinki, Finland. He is known by the nicknames "Adonis", "The Flying Finn" and "The Lion", and he holds one European Poker Tour (EPT) title.

Before playing poker professionally, Antonius used to play and coach tennis. He even worked as a model in Vantaa, Finland. The world of poker started taking notice of Antonius when he finished 12th at the WPT PokerStars Caribbean Adventure and then two months afterwards, 15th at the Bay 101 Shooting Stars tournament in 2005, both times almost making it to the final table.

Ilari Sahamies

Ilari Sahamies who is also known by his nickname â€œZiigmundâ€ was born in 1983 in Helsinki, Finland. Although he does not hold a World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet or a World Poker Tour (WPT) title, he is considered as a dangerous and a great poker player who specializes in the field of high stakes poker, especially in the game of pot-limit omaha high stakes cash games.
Sahamies is known for his trashtalks around the poker tables, especially those that are directed towards the poker professionals, but he claims to be good friends of all the poker pros and poker players he plays against and says the trashtalks are intended only for fun and entertainment during the game.

Eli Elezra

Eli Elezra who is also known by his nicknames "Mr. Vegas" and "Wizard" was born on November 24, 1960 in Jerusalem, Israel. He holds one World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet and one World Poker Tour (WPT) bracelet.

Besides being a professional poker player, Elezra is also a successful businessman who owns a chain of retail stores and a popular Las Vegas nightclub called "Seven". He stated that when he was doing business in Alaska, there was nothing to do so he and his co-workers were playing poker day and night. This proved to be a good practice for him before moving to play in Vegas.

Dario Minieri

Dario Minieri was born in 1985 and heâ€™s an Italian professional poker player coming from Rome, Italy. He is also known by his nickname â€œSupernovaâ€ and his hometown is in Rome, Italy.

He is a young and successful poker player as he won a World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet in 2008 when he was only 23 years old and also qualified to 3 European Poker Tour (EPT) final tables and 1 World Poker Tour (WPT) final table. He is a member of team PokerStars and is the first player to earn enough Frequent Player Points (FPP) to buy a car with them.

Bertrand Grospellier

Bertrand Grospellier was born on February 8, 1981 in Melun, France. He is one of the most talented French poker players and around the tables he is know by his nickname "ElkY". He has won one World Poker Tour (WPT) title and one European Poker Tour (EPT) title but has never won a World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet, although finishing 8 times in the money.
